Quadion Corporation Reorganizes Minnesota Rubber And QMR Plastics Into A Unitary Operation—
Name Changed To Minnesota Rubber and Plastics

Minneapolis, Minnesota: Quadion Corporation, the parent company of Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics, announces the reorganization of its North American operations. Since 1995, Minnesota Rubber and QMR Plastics have operated separately with a shared sales and marketing team and will now merge their management, operations and technical support teams to meet the needs of its large North American customer base.

As part of the reorganization, the company will be named Minnesota Rubber and Plastics.

Jim Lande, CEO of Quadion Corporation, made the announcement stating, “operating as a single unit in North America will allow us to better serve our customers and create greater internal and external efficiencies. There has been an added market focus by Quadion to provide greater value added services to our customers, which builds upon our existing plastic and rubber technologies.”

Since its founding in 1945, Minnesota Rubber and Plastics has become a world leader in the engineering, design, compound development and manufacturing of custom molded elastomeric and thermoplastic components and assemblies. It has achieved a global reputation with extensive resources for producing “the tough parts” supplied to medical, appliance, automotive, plumbing, food and other important industries that include many Fortune 500 companies.

Minnesota Rubber and Plastics is an ISO/QS 9000 and EN ISO 13485:2003 certified company. Its corporate headquarters is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota with manufacturing, and distribution operations in Minneapolis and Litchfield, Minnesota, Mason City, Iowa, Watertown, South Dakota, River Falls, Wisconsin and Santa Ana, CA. It also has manufacturing and distribution facilities in Reynosa, Mexico, Pacy-sur-Eure, France, Republic of Singapore and China.
