Performs other duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.


RELATIONSHIP TO OTHERS:
Must work with Litchfield Operation Team, Litchfield Engineering Team, Litchfield Staff, Litchfield Supervisors, Dimension Technician Lead, Production Employees, Corporate Staff, Dimension Technicians, and Manufacturing personnel.

DIMENSIONS OF POSITION:
Directly works with managers, engineers, supervisors and Dimension Technicians to maintain capable processes. Participates with all employees on problem solving and process improvement. Provides accurate and timely feedback to all areas. This position does have the authority to shut down production due to quality related issues.
Designated Dimension Techicians: Support Calibration systems, Support Automated Vision System Changeovers.


Background/Experience Preferred:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

*Education:+ High School diploma or equivalent required
+ Basic computer skills required
+ College or Technical degree experience desired
+ Knowledge of statistical analysis and techniques
+ Knowledge of metrology techniques such as: MSA, Gage R&R, Bias, Linearity, Stability, etc.
+ Knowledge of Kaizen and other Continuous Improvement techniques desired
*Experience:+ DOE experience desired
+ ASQ certification desired

Tech I = 0-3 yrs experience in manufacturing & measurement environment.
Tech II = 3-5 yrs experience in manufacturing & measurement environment & demonstrated proficiency in equipment use/methods.
Tech III = 5 + yrs experience in manufacturing & measurement environment & demonstrated high proficiency in equipment use/methods.
Tech Lead = 5 + experience in manufacturing & measurement environment & demonstrated proficiency in equipment use, measurement methods, troubleshooting, & problem solving.
