Insures that customers and sales offices receive the best service possible through contract review, order processing, expedites, quotes, general correspondence and coordination with other departments as required. |

Provides clear communication between Sales Representatives, customers and vendors. Responds to telephone, email, and fax inquiries from Customers and vendors with tact and professionalism. Inquiries include: Contract review, price and availability of standard & custom products, shipping information on sales orders, compound information, issues resolution, etc. Works in partnership with necessary parties to provide excellent service to our Customers by exceeding their expectations. Generally assists customers and promotes use of Mar-Kell website for self-service. |

3. | 
Manages customer accounts in a pro-active manner to determine forecast demand and generates sales on stock items. Identifies potential delivery problems and any other issues or opportunities affecting their requirements. |

Participate in sales development activities including lead development and follow-up and other activities involved with maintaining and building new sales. |

5. | 
Selects suppliers based on cost, delivery performance, quality, and customer requirements. Communicates part requirements for accurate and timely pricing. |

6. | 
Generates purchase orders, including necessary product, paperwork, and shipping requirements. Follows up on past due or 'hot' orders where needed. |

Performs other duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives.
Relationship to Others: Has frequent contact with Customers, Sales Offices, Engineering, Purchasing, Sales Support, Lab, Shipping, Production, Accounting, and Sales Management.
Dimensions of Position: Has daily contact with customers, Sales Representatives, vendors and other internal departments as needed. With limited supervision, exercises discretion in providing answers and solutions to customers, as well as requirements to vendors. |
