Supports the design and development of new injection, transfer and compression molding projects, to include system debug, interactive testing, design validation, design recommendations, simulation, reliability analysis and quotations support. Works closely with various engineering & production teams to ensure proper transition of new processes into production. Manages & updates various databases to ensure proper documentation, tracking of project status & requirements. |

2. | 
Identifies, with assistance of other technical resources, root causes of molding and secondary operation issues and implements corrective actions, process control plans, improves problem- solving tools and resolves processing issues. This includes pursuing scrap reduction and cost reduction activities. Ensures quality of the product, including full authority to stop production if the product quality is determined to be unacceptable. |

3. | 
Engineers equipment, facilities and processes including daily activities as well as major projects, provides technical support, develops and coordinates continuous improvement projects and supports TS 16949/ISO 14001 initiatives. |

4. | 
Participates in various new product launch activities such as the quotation process, part design, prototype & production tool design, mold flow analysis. |

5. | 
Supports Production and Manufacturing Engineering through participation in continuous improvement activities, Kaizen events, trouble-shooting efforts and development of value-added activities. |

6. | 
Provides direction to various departments to meet internal & external requirements. Provides specific process training to the new and current employees, give support to them in all issues and solving production and tools problems. |

7. | 
Performs other duties and assumes accountabilities as apparent or as delegated, including mutually agreed upon objectives. |
